Mission Dentistry – Sharing the love of Christ with those in need
Dr. Davis and his family make regular trips to the Phillipines to serve with a Christian missionary clinic in the squatter areas around Manila. Dr. Siterlet grew up serving on these trips with the family. They provide free dental care to adults and children who have no access to care and no experience with modern dentistry. Many of them are amazed that extractions can be pain free with a local anesthetic! They also provide preventive care for some nearby orphanages.
In addition, Dr. Davis teaches annually at a continuing education conference for missionaries who provide health care in the developing world through the Christian Medical and Dental Association. These meetings have been held in Kenya, Thailand and Greece.
